New When I Work Updates: Labor Budget and Improved Live Chat

At When I Work, we’re always making improvements and updates to our product with the ultimate goal of making things even easier for you—our users. We’ve recently made a few updates to When I Work that we think you’ll love. Take a look:

New Labor Budget Planning

As you may have noticed, we recently added an easy-access Labor Budget button in the Scheduler to make it even easier for users to see and review labor costs. With the labor budgeting feature, you can easily see your payroll forecast and overtime expenses in just one click. Here’s an example that illustrates what now happens when you click the button:

Improved Live Chat

We also recently revamped our live chat system to make it easier than ever to get answers to your most pressing scheduling questions. With the new chat system in place, you can get help in seconds by clicking the “Need help? Chat now!” button located in the top menu of the dashboard. Here’s an example of our live chat in action:


We’d love for you to take advantage of this feature whenever you have a question about how to use When I Work—our Support team is always eager to help and can chat live with you Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 AM – 6:30 PM CST (if you need help outside of those hours, feel free to submit a support ticket and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!).
