As many of you may know, we’ve been hard at it building an elegant mobile time clock software that works with When I Work to make time keeping, payroll tracking and attendance easy and less time consuming. Well, we’re excited to announce that WageBase is coming out of private beta and is now officially in public beta for everyone to try and evaluate.
WageBase is a simple, mobile time and attendance software that offers a web and mobile app-based time clock terminal. WageBase also works seamlessly with When I Work and enforces the work schedule when you use both products together. With WageBase, you can setup a fixed clock-in terminal or you can enable a mobile clock-in terminal. The fixed clock-in terminal option requires that you setup a laptop, PC or tablet at your place of business for your employees to clock in/out from. A mobile app enabled clock-in terminal allows your employee to clock in/out of their shifts from their personal device — but don’t worry — using location services and GPS, WageBase ensures that your employees are at an approved address when clocking in. Mobile clock-in will even allow employees to manage their time sheets from their web-browser — where location can be requested and verified as well.
WageBase also offers a simple and streamlined workflow for managing employee time sheets and preparing time cards for payroll. Overtime is calculated and allocated appropriately in the payroll preparation workflow. After you have your payroll hours prepared and ready for processing you can print a report or export to excel for processing.
