Feature Spotlight: Monitoring Availability
Shift workers tend to have a lot on their plates, resulting in availability that varies throughout the week. It’s the manager’s job to keep track of all these needs, but there’s no need to do it without a little help. When I Work’s Scheduler lets you see every employee’s availability as you create the schedule. If viewing all employees at once is too much information to work with, simply sort by position or department as you build the schedule, then you can view the complete schedule when you’re done.
When I Work takes availability settings one step further than other scheduling software by allowing employees to set preferences. In addition to the times when employees are unavailable, they can let their managers know their work preferences (position, time, etc.). With the ability to create multiple availability preferences, employees can set up both current and future availability settings.
